In order to enable electric motors and driving working machines with large mass torques starting, the SHPR overload-release fluid couplings were designed. They are capable of transferring power values within the range of 100 to 600 [kW]. They are used in drivers of coal hoppers, ash conveyors etc. in mining and power generation industries. Thanks to their operating advantages, fluid couplings solve numerous operational difficulties connected with the dynamics, the assembly and start-up of drive systems.
