PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
DALLOP® muscle fascia prostheses are knitted of multifilament polyester yarn. They have an a-jour structure and are manufactured in 3 different kinds depending on the loop density, mass and strength. The thermally stabilized meshes feature the retention of the surface dimensions. Appropriate patterns prevent roving and fraying at the edges.
DALLOP® muscle fascia prostheses:
• do not invoke inflammatory reactions,
• are impervious to systemic fluids,
• have mechanical endurance,
• are easily stored.

INDICATIONS
Clinical use of DALLOP® muscle fascia prostheses is plausible in selected reconstructions of soft tissue defects, such as: abdominal hernias – primary and recurrent, and in a scar with a large ring of hernia, in periosseus plastic surgery, diaphragm defects, muscle hernias.
Moreover, DALLOP® muscle fascia prostheses can be used as an external cover for vascular tissue grafts in arterial surgery in order to suspend the descending “mobile kidney”, etc.
DALLOP® muscle fascia prostheses are especially recommended in cases of abdominal eventrations where the wound cannot be closed. DALLOP® muscle fascia prostheses should be used only in those cases where the reconstructions without additional materials or autografts are excluded, and homogenic grafts are not recommended.
