We also manufacture the flat-rolled and spirally wound paper tube ofdifferent lengths (The tube lengths are:
300 mm, 600mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm, 1500 mm and 1800 mm. & connector diameter specially used for fabrication of disposable thermocouples and immersion sampler. The length of paper tube may vary as per customer requirements and specification.

What is Thermocouple:
Immersion Disposable Thermocouples are used to measure the temperature directly, accurate and quickly through immersion method, in the production & refining of iron, steel & other ferrous and non-ferrous in Electric Arc Furnaces, other melting furnaces, LD converters, Ladles, Tundishes etc.and for the chemical analysis of the metal during its manufacturing stage. It is a simple and cost effective instrument and provides the quickest way to get the most accurate readings.

Thermocouple is mainly divided into three Parts:
1) Protection cap : The thermocouple cap is part of the “Disposable Immersion Thermocouple”. It is e of steel or (aluminum or brass, by request)
2) Insulating Body: This part is made of ABS or Ceramic Body or Plastic body.
3) Tips:The Thermocouple Tips are manufactured using high accuracy Platinumand Platinum-Rhodium wires under strict quality controls.

Working
The Expendable Thermocouple tip is introduced inside the paper tube available in various length.This is then coupled with the lancing pipe or tube connected with a receptacle. An automatic signal is generated on the measuring panel indicating the proper connection. This lance with thermocouple Tips is then introduced in molten metal whose temperature is to be measured. The measuring head consists of a steel (aluminium or Brass )cap for protection from slag As soon as the Tips comes in contact with the molten metal the thermocouple tip after 4-5 Sec it translates the temperature into
millivolts, which is instantly sent to the calibrated measuring system for recording the temperature.
