Action
Coenzyme Q10 increases generation and utilization of energy in cells, in particular, in cardiac muscle and skeletal muscles. It shows antioxidant properties, protecting the cells against harmful results of free radicals action. It also has antiarteriosclerotic effect, decreases arterial blood pressure and stimulates immune system.
Indications
Coenzyme Q10 is applied as an auxiliary in circulatory system disorders such as:
- cardiomyopathy and circulatory insufficiency
- myocardial ischemia
- hypertension
- cardiac rhythm disorders
and also:
- in arteriosclerosis prevention
- in decreased physical efficiency or chronic fatigue syndrom caused by endogenic Coenzyme Q10 deficiency, for example: among professional sportsmen or older persons, when it comes to physiological decrease of CoenzymeQ10 in blood and tissues
- in parodontopathy
