RAJPOL Sp z o.o. Is one of the biggest producer group of fruit. At the moment there are 20 fruit growers. The farms are located in Grójec region – the capital of Polish orchards and Europe largest orchard. These family farms exist from generations. The cropland area is 220 ha. Apples yields amount to 6000 tons, pears -200 tons, plums -100 tons, American whortleberry -50 tons.

The producer group RAJPOL owns a modern hall (about 650 m2) which is used for preparing (classifications and packing) and short storing of fruit which are intended for distribution. This hall is equipped in a sorting line MSE2000 Greef (4 lines, sorted out in respect of size and colour) with water unloading. They also have cold storage rooms. These storage rooms are with controlled atmosphere (CA and ULO). All these fruit which are kept about 10 months in cold storage rooms with CA , look very fresh. They are very tasty , pithy, juicy. Naturally, they are competitive with apples from the Netherlands and the New Zealand. Another advantage of keeping fruit in the cool storage rooms is their persistence. There are minimum wastes after a long time of exposition in shops.

We have contacts of Polish scientific representatives for example: Warsaw Agricultural University, Institute of Horticulture and Floriculture in Skierniewice, Agricultural Academy in Lublin. Many guests in our orchards are the practicioners of horticulture. As a result of this cooperation is an introduction of new varieties grown and the modern technology of growing like Integrated Fruit Production (IFP). IFP means production of high quality fruit, minimizing the undesirable side effects of agrochemicals used. The confirmation of it are the fruit growers obtaining fruit salubrity certificates , which guarantee lack of agrochemicals, heavy metals and fertilizers and confirm equally good flavor and equally high taste. Our activity and high level of production has been honoured the first price in Radom region, and vice- champion of Agrola 2000 contest in category “Farmer”. Our orchards have also been in horticulturist magazines.
