Glass Works „Wolomin” as one of the biggest polish table glass, grinded lamps, pressed and multi coloured glass manufacturers was founded in 1905.
Since the beginning of its existence, Glass Works “WOLOMIN” was characterized with high quality of the products and best qualified specialists. In 1958 due to high and still rising demand on a heat resistant glass (laboratory glass), Glass Works “WOLOMIN” took measures to gain such products. A few years later factory has started to produce a heat resistant glass.

In 1974 Glass Works “WOLOMIN” started production of blown glass and laboratory glass using an “OLIWOTTO” machine. Besides machine made glass, factory made products in different shapes and different kind using a blowing glass tool. After launching an automatic washing-machines, Glass Works “WOLOMIN” has started co-operation with POLAR. Thanks to that a new investment was made and in 1980 a new production line for a pressed glass started working. The glass windows for automatic washing-machines have succeeded. In the same year a production of thermoses was moved from Tluszcz city to the Glass Works “WOLOMIN”.

In 2000 a factory started its activity as Glass Works “WOLOMIN” Co. Ltd. According to its tradition factory carries on the production of heat-resistant glass under TERMISIL trade mark.
